Fortunately, Carla was back today. Equally fortunately, she put her nose to the grindstone and executed. Weekly and monthly reports started taking shape. I was able to get caught up on calls and start cleaning out email.
Of course, since we had a tight turn-around this month, one of the reports was screwed up. I spent a lot of the day going back and forth with IT before finally getting the permission to scrap the slide that went with it for this month.
I stayed late to finish up and work on Canada. Alan got the US short form reviewed, and we turned it in on time (I doubt many departments did), which took the pressure off for tomorrow.
I went gratefully home, ate some leftovers, and went to bed.
